Departing from London, our adventure begins at the world-famous Stonehenge, an awe-inspiring monument constructed around 2000 BC.

As we continue along the Dorset coast, you'll explore the World Heritage Jurassic Coast sites, visit Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, and delve into the history of Clouds Hill, the former home of Lawrence of Arabia. The tour proceeds to Plymouth, where the first day of your South West England exploration concludes.

Embarking on the Southwest of England Tour 

We depart from London and head to our first destination, the world-famous Stonehenge. 

Embark on a captivating journey as we explore the enchanting landscapes of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

From London on to Stone Henge, The Jurassic Coast and Plymouth

Our private South West Tour begins as we depart from London and head to our first destination, the world-famous Stonehenge. This awe-inspiring monument, believed to have been constructed around 2000 BC, is a truly magnificent spectacle.

Continuing our immersive Southwest tour, we trace the scenic Dorset coast, unveiling some of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast sites. Furthermore, the coast stretches 96 miles along the Dorset and Devon coastline.

Additionally, as we meander along, we’ll make a stop at Lulworth Cove, a prehistoric coastline that dates back millions of years.

Onwards to Clouds Hill, the former residence of TE Lawrence, Lawrence of Arabia, where you can immerse yourself in the captivating history of one of England’s greatest heroes.

Our journey then takes us to Plymouth, where we will spend our first night during this unforgettable Southwest tour of Southwest England.

Day 2

Devon Delights on the South West Tour

On day two of our adventure, we continue to explore the wonders of Devon...

Dartmoor National Park

As we embark on day two of our adventure, we continue to explore the wonders of Devon, leaving Plymouth behind. Therefore, our first destination is Buckfast Abbey, a serene place of worship with roots dating back to 1018.

Next, our journey through the heart of the Dartmoor National Park leads us to Post Bridge. Namely, where a 13th-century bridge provides a picturesque backdrop for photographs. Thus, while traversing the rugged landscapes, keep an eye out for the famous wild Dartmoor Ponies.

Continuing our journey, we arrive in Tavistock, a charming medieval town nestled within the Dartmoor National Park. Furthermore, here, you can savour lunch and immerse yourself in the ambiance of this quintessential rural village.

Plymouth

As we conclude our Devon tour, we reach Plymouth City Centre. As a result, we’ll explore the Hoe, Smeaton’s Lighthouse, the historic Barbican district, and the renowned Mayflower Steps. Likewise, after a day filled with discoveries, the evening in Plymouth offers a chance to unwind, exploring its vibrant bars and restaurants.

Day 3

Exploring Cornwall’s Charms on the Southwest Tour

Next, our journey takes us over the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall.

St. Michael’s Mount, Minack Theatre

Next, our journey takes us over the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall, where we begin our tour in the South West of England.

Our first destination is St. Michael’s Mount, an enchanting tidal island accessible by foot at low tide or via a regular boat service. Pause for a delightful meal at a traditional English pub before we continue our adventure.

Next, we make our way to the Minack Theatre, a World Heritage Site nestled near Lands End. Carved into the cliffs overlooking the ocean, this open-air theatre is a breath-taking sight to behold, adding a touch of magic to your South West tour.

Cornish Mining World Heritage Sites, St. Ives


Our journey carries us to the Botallack Mines, another World Heritage Site dating back to the 1500s and famously featured in the BBC Drama Poldark.

St. Ives, a charming South West England seaside town known for its stunning beaches and the Tate Gallery, becomes our final destination for the day.

Day 4

Coastal Wonders and Legends on the Southwest Tour

Today, we set our sights on the coastal wonders of Cornwall.

Padstow andPort Isaac

Today, we set our sights on the coastal wonders of Cornwall as we explore Padstow, a picturesque fishing port. Take your time to meander through the charming harbour, indulging in Cornish cream teas, pasties, and fish and chips.

Our journey continues to Port Isaac, known for its natural fishing harbour and quaint cobbled streets. This village gained fame as the backdrop for the television drama Doc Martin.

Tintagel then onto Bath

The day’s final destination is Tintagel, where you can explore the rugged coastlines and the Castle, famously linked to the legend of King Arthur’s conception by Geoffrey of Monmouth.

We then travel to our accommodation in Bath, preparing for the final day of your unforgettable Southwest tour of South West England.

Day 5

Bath, Cotswolds, and Downton Abbey

Your final day on the South West tour begins in the splendid Georgian city of Bath.

Your final day on the South West tour begins in the splendid Georgian city of Bath, renowned for its exquisite Georgian architecture. Explore the Roman Spa World Heritage Site, a testament to the Romans’ ingenuity, built between 60-70 AD over a span of 300 years.

Venturing through the scenic Cotswolds, we reach Lacock, a charming village celebrated for its photogenic qualities.

Enjoy a traditional English country pub lunch here before we head to our final destinations. Either Highclere Castle, famously featured in Downton Abbey, or Bampton in Oxfordshire, the quintessential village setting for the beloved period drama.

Our journey culminates as we return to your drop-off location in London, concluding our South West tour.
