Our adventure begins in Victoria, a vibrant area in Central London within the City of Westminster. Named after the pivotal Victoria Station, this major transport hub has been a focal point since its opening in 1851.
Journey to Brighton, the collection and drop-off point for the Dieppe tour. A swift 1-hour train ride from London connects you to this coastal town, setting the stage for the exploration of wartime history.
From Brighton, we travel to Newhaven Ferry Port, a vital maritime crossroads. A brief 30-minute journey from Brighton train station brings us to this significant location, connecting our journey across the English Channel.
Relive the dramatic events of the Raid on Dieppe, unfolding on the morning of August 19, 1942. Attacking from five different points, including Plage de Dieppe, this historical battleground witnessed intense conflict. Learn about the strategic maneuvers and sacrifices made during this pivotal moment in Canadian military history.

Our Journey Continues

On August 19th, 1942, witness the Royal Regiment of Canada approaching the beach of Puys, east of Dieppe. As the sun rose, they faced challenges, marking a crucial chapter in the wartime narrative.
Visit the Dieppe Canadian War Cemetery in Hautot-sur-Mer, a solemn tribute to Canadian and British soldiers who lost their lives during the Dieppe Raid on August 18/19, 1942. Pay respects to the heroes interred in this Second World War military war grave cemetery.
