Our journey commences in York, a city founded by Romans, showcasing the grandeur of York Minster and the historical allure of its medieval walls. We then venture to the haunting beauty of Whitby, inspired by Bram Stoker's "Dracula," and the serene coastal village of Robin Hood's Bay.
Finally, we visit the classic seaside resort of Scarborough. The adventure continues with a trip to Ripon and its splendid cathedral, followed by a visit to Fountains Abbey, where a monastic escape from a bustling York came to life. Our exploration concludes in Harrogate, a town with a rich spa resort legacy and leafy Valley Gardens. Embrace the essence of Yorkshire on this unforgettable getaway.

Day 1
Discovering a Yorkshire Holiday

Steeped in history and charm, York boasts a rich heritage, with traces of the Roman and Viking eras, stunning Norman castles, medieval abbeys, and cities that played pivotal roles in the Industrial Revolution. Yorkshire is also home to two magnificent national parks.
Our journey begins with a visit to the county town, York, where you can explore the 13th-century masterpiece, York Minster, along with Tudor houses and medieval walls. Dive into the past at the interactive Jorvik Viking Centre, which brings the area’s 9th-century Norse occupation to life.
Founded by the Romans. Its crowning jewel, York Minster, is a monumental Gothic cathedral with medieval stained glass and two majestic bell towers.
You can also enjoy a scenic stroll along the City Walls, offering picturesque views of the River Ouse.
Don’t miss the Monk Bar gate, which hosts an exhibition tracing the life of the 15th-century Plantagenet King Richard III.
A picturesque seaside town overlooking the North Sea. The hauntingly beautiful Whitby Abbey, perched on the East Cliff, was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s “Dracula.”

Our journey concludes in Scarborough, a classic seaside resort on England’s North Sea coast. Explore the sandy beaches split by a historic headland, home to the 12th-century Scarborough Castle.
Day 2

Welcomes you with its magnificent cathedral, which far exceeds its size. With a history dating back to a charter granted by Alfred the Great in 886 AD, Ripon maintains the tradition of a Wakeman sounding a horn at every corner of the market square, signifying a millennium-long vigilance against enemies.
Founded in 1132 by 13 Benedictine monks from St Mary’s in York. Seeking a simpler and more devout lifestyle, they escaped the extravagance of York and embraced a new beginning at Fountains Abbey.
Within three years, they had embraced the austere Cistercian Order and introduced the Cistercian system of lay brothers, marking an important development in their way of life.
Presents a town in North Yorkshire steeped in history and situated to the east of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Embrace the town’s heritage as a fashionable spa resort, showcased in the Montpellier Quarter.
Visit the Royal Pump Room Museum to learn about the significance of local mineral springs. Nearby, indulge in relaxation at the Moorish-style Turkish Baths & Health Spa.
